Sita Cepeda

I am Sita Cepeda, Dominican. I entered the group of South Boston en Accion seven years ago, invited by Samuel Hurtado. During this time I was suffering a strong depression. To unite with this group was a great help. I met many people and we work in workshops about taxes and I learned a lot. It was a big help for my emotional problems.

Since this time I am a volunteer at SBEA and the treasurer. Now I am a part of the Board of Directors. About two years ago Samuel helped find a scholarship to study English and I shared it with my friends for the English and computer classes.

I have participated in different events form other organizations like the course about healthy food. I feel great sharing with all of my friends and I also give thanks to God because we have found volunteer teachers that are all great and marvelous.
